Harrison's Crib

Dad has been working tirelessly on Harrison's crib for the last 4 months or so and I must say it is just beautiful! This is something that will be in our family for a long time. Thank you Grandpa Rusty!

Blurry Smiles

So the last two weeks I have been telling myself that I would start back up this blog properly and give a beautiful first post about Harrison's birth and all that's been happening, and then this morning as I watched the sunrise without having slept a minute in my bed I realised if I waited for that it wouldn't happen.

I knew parenting would be hard but I figured Josh and I are such an incredible team it would just come easy like most things we tackle together. And while our awesome teamwork have made it easier we are still learning what it's like to live with this little creature we call Harrison.

All in all we have it pretty darn great with just a few tough nights thrown in, after all he is his fathers son, sleeping is in their blood.

So instead of the beautifully captured photo that I wanted to post on here as his debut blog feature, I give you this slightly blurry smile. Which pretty much sums up the last two weeks, blurry smiles all around.

Pregnancy Farm Shoot

Josh and I thought it was time to take a few proper snaps of the baby belly before it disappears and we get to meet Baby Bartos.

Some of these are silly but we had fun running around the farm taking them :) I am 36 weeks in these.

Thank you to Joshua for taking the time and energy to take and edit these. You are talented at so many things it almost annoys me.

Me being an idiot at the end :)

Baby B's Shower

Last Sunday was Baby B's Shower and it was such a beautiful day. Whitney and Levi drove 11+ hours up from Narromine on the Friday and Whit organised everything for the whole party.

I am so blessed to have such a creative and caring sister, everything was awesome, she really went above and beyond. Thank you Whinnie!

And talk about blessed, I can't believe how many gifts we received, we had more gifts than people at the party thanks to Uncle Bicki hauling in all of the American ones ;). I was overwhelmed by the love. This kid has no idea how much it is loved already. Lucky little brat.

A big official thank you to:

  • Whitney for organising the whole shindig and coming all this way!
  • My Mom for organising and making all of the food and letting a million people in her house.
  • Kaylene (My Mum) for making food as well as the coolest diaper cake in the world! I will post photos soon of it :) it is ridiculous!
  • Uncle Bicki for coming and for helping with everything!
  • My Dad for making the property look like a park and helping us decorate.
  • Joshua for helping to make the Baby of the hour and helping with all the high up decorations and heavy lifting :)
  • Candace for coming to my shower even though you hate female events.
  • Baby B for existing.
Seems like we were just having a baby shower for this little one.
